The India I Have Not Forgotten

The time I spent in India was amazing and horrifying at the same time. A place I could not have imagined as I planned my adventure. I now understand how hard life can be for women and children who live in other countries.

It becomes up close and personal as you spend time with people in filthy, crowded streets and slums. When someone points a gun at your head, you find out the hard way that you cannot rely on the police or the government to help you.

I still have nightmares of the things I saw in India. God bless the women and children who have the strength and courage of warriors. They hold a special place in my heart.
